What’s the deal with Growlers?
Beer sales are flying through the roof; they’ve busted up some cumulus and are now on their way into the outer atmosphere of the Earth.
An unfortunate side effect of this is that we have to reduce our growler sales. Why? Because our production level needs to be balanced with our demand and most importantly of all — we need to have beer in our taproom.
Currently, we are selling 20-30 growlers a day - 1 64oz, 1 64oz and 1 mini, or 2 minis per customer. Being present when the taproom opens is your best bet. We apologize for this inconvenience. We are currently working on increasing production which will allow us to sell more growlers. More than anything we’d like our beer to go home with you.
We thank you all very much for your continued support!
Belgian Golden Strong
Belgian Strong Ale
10.4% ABV – 28 IBU
A large, sweet malt bouquet that has notes of pears and other milder fruits. Large hints of biscuits, candy, and toffee are present in the malt flavors with a present heat from the large alcohol content. A thick finger of white foam sits in the glass. A noted bitterness ends with the beers dry finish.
Rooibos Red Ale with Vanilla
Wet Hop Red Ale
Amber Hybrid Beer
7% ABV – 64 IBU
Strong Aromatic and Melanoidin lend a hand in the nose while the Centennial impart a subtle spice character. The body is firm but drinkable. The wet hops bring a bit of citrus, floral, and fruit character.
6.7% ABV – 70 IBU
Citrus and an especially fruity yeast profile round out this India Pale Ale. Medium-bodied, the wheat addition sneaks into the malt profile of this beer and helps to highlight the grapefruit and orange flavorings. A pleasant, lingering bitterness finishes the beer.
Dogwood Coffee Porter
6.3% ABV – 29 IBU
Coffee, toast, chocolate
Imperial Pumpkin Ale
8.2% ABV – 20 IBU
Additions of allspice, ginger, clove, and nutmeg help to create a perfect seasonal treat. Pumpkin pie is on the nose and the palate with a hint of alcohol on the finish. Notes of vanilla find its way in this beer, which drinks especially smooth with the lactose addition.
Chocolate Milk Stout
5% ABV – 28 IBU
The Chocolate Milk Stout is pitch black with an off-tan head and a large, roast and chocolate aroma. Thick and creamy, the flavors in the CMS range from dark and milk chocolate, coffee, and toasted bread. Boosted with lactose additions, this beer is distinct for its rich and creamy chocolate flavors.
