HOLY MOLEY!
Jeremy and Rob here— and we are PUMPED to share…
Dangerous Man Brewing is officially back!!!
Hello! I am Jeremy Kuhns the new owner of Dangerous Man Brewing and I want to take a moment to introduce myself: My first calling was in public education, where I spent most of my time as a middle school principal. Working in the Bloomington school district for over 20 years, I’ve had a long career connecting with families and fostering community. In 2023, I stepped away from my career in schools, looking for a new way to connect with the community–a taproom. I learned everything I could about the brewing industry, founded Rafters Brewing, and began looking for brewing equipment and a location.
When I first met Rob to talk about some brewing equipment, I never imagined it would lead us here. But the stars aligned, and the chance to bring Dangerous Man back together was just too good to pass up. I couldn’t be more excited to carry this legacy forward and infuse it with new energy. It was through this search that I learned about the closing of Dangerous Man, and met Rob Miller. Rob and his partner Sarah Bonvallet had just made the difficult decision to cease business operations, and were looking for a buyer for their facility filled with state-of-the-art brewing equipment. After talking with Rob, we began to hatch a plan to join forces as collaborators, and save the Dangerous Man brand.
So here’s where we’re at today. I come to you as the new owner of Dangerous Man Brewing. I hope to prove to you that I have the community-centered mindset that you’d expect from Dangerous Man. Rob will remain our Head Brewer. It was his creativity and recipes which made Dangerous Man so popular, and I am elated that he will remain in charge of brewing up the high-quality beer and THC beverages that you expect from us.
Rob here! I am excited for this new chapter of Dangerous Man, that the brand will live on, and that I will be heading up the brewing department and leading the creative direction in our beverages, as this was always my passion within the company” says Miller “ Jeremy made it clear to me that he wanted my involvement from the start if we were to bring Dangerous Man back. I am thrilled to see where we can take Dangerous Man under new ownership with fresh perspectives and ideas. I am humbled that Dangerous Man will live on and that it will remain a locally family-owned company.
The other employees of Dangerous Man who were employed in 2025 have been contacted. Some have rejoined the team already, and we are prioritizing hiring former employees as we add staff.
As you read this, we are spinning up production at our Maple Lake facility, and will be delivering beer to bars and liquor stores before the year is over. If you’d like to see Dangerous Man products in your favorite spot, let them know! Ask about us. Spread the word.
But what about a taproom you say?
Dangerous Man needs a taproom. Our immediate plan is to get production back up and running, and return to delivering cans and kegs around the metro area. As we do that, our next priority is finding the right location and turning it into an awesome taproom befitting the name Dangerous Man where community can gather again. We are not quite sure where that will be or when it will happen, but we are hard at work finding the right location and are elated to be bringing this aspect of DM back.
The phoenix is officially rising again. Stay tuned for more updates — production is firing up, cans are coming back in November, and we can’t wait to raise a glass with you all soon.
Cheers!
