Has Dangerous Man Brewing re-opened?

Dangerous Man is back — under new ownership from Jeremy Kuhns, working alongside founder Rob Miller!
We are beyond excited for this new chapter of Dangerous Man. While we are still in the early stages of getting things up and running, here are some details about DM’s future and what’s to come.

Dangerous Man Brewing has a new owner, Jeremy Kuhns. Jeremy’s first calling was public education, where he spent over 20 years in the Bloomington school district, most of that time as a middle school principal. Transitioning into a new endeavor while wanting to continue his journey in community building led him to the brewing world. While originally planning to open his own small brewery, Jeremy’s plans serendipitously changed when he and Rob met over purchasing equipment, and the opportunity to acquire Dangerous Man arose.

Rob Miller, founder of Dangerous Man, is excited to stay on as Head Brewer and will lead operations at the Maple Lake production facility. Rob’s creativity and passion are what created Dangerous Man, and they will continue to shine as the brewery moves forward under new ownership.

Is there a taproom?

While there is no taproom currently, Dangerous Man needs a taproom. Our immediate plan is to get production back up and running and return to delivering cans and kegs around the metro area. As we do that, our next priority is finding the right location and turning it into an awesome taproom befitting the name Dangerous Man — a place where the community can gather again. We’re not quite sure where that will be or when it will happen, but we are hard at work finding the right spot and are thrilled to be bringing this aspect of DM back. We’ll keep you updated as things develop!

Will my favorite beer be making a return?

While we’ve brewed many beloved and unique beers over the years, we cannot promise that all of them will return. Right now, our focus is getting production back up and running with a group of flagship beers and a handful of rotating seasonal releases. Once we get back into a groove, we’ll be able to expand our offerings. And once we find a new taproom home, we’ll have even more flexibility to bring back some of those wild, wacky, and fun one-offs!

Do you ship your beer?

Unfortunately, we cannot — it is illegal for us to do so in the state of MN. Fingers crossed that changes in the future!

Can I get your THC tonics?

We plan to get our THC tonic program up and running as soon as we can! With the legal and regulatory changes to cannabis in October, we are awaiting our licensing from the state so we can begin producing THC tonics again.

Can I get a keg of Dangerous Man beer for my event, party, or kegerator?

Yes, you possibly can! You can purchase our kegs from several liquor stores within our delivery zone. While we cannot sell a keg directly to an individual, we can work with the liquor store nearest you (within our current delivery areas) or with your venue/catering company to get you a keg.

Can I use my gift card from the original Dangerous Man?

No, former Dangerous Man gift cards cannot be used and are no longer valid. Dangerous Man completely closed down in April 2025 and was sold and reopened under new ownership in November 2025.

Do you sell merch?

Yes! We are currently building up our merch program and getting an online store back up and running. We’ll also be doing pop-ups here and there, so keep an eye on our website and social media.

Can I get your beer in my bar/liquor store?

Yes! Let’s chat. As we relaunch, we’re getting our feet back under us and will continue to grow our distribution area. We self-distribute, and our main focus is currently the Twin Cities metro and surrounding areas. Interested in carrying our products? Check out this link and fill out our distribution inquiry form — we’d love to connect!
